Summary: Severus Snape makes the ultimate sacrifice for Harry Potter. No, not that sacrifice! The other one! And finds Sanctuary in the most unexpected of places.

Oh, I was right then! I had a feeling since the beginning that your fic was going to be the closing fic. I've been waiting with baited breath for your fic, so yes! *is super excited!*

This was absolutely lovely!

I love how protective Draco is, yet how weary he is of becoming his father. I love Gabrielle and her increasingly amazing cake designs (reading this fic gave me cravings for cake!) and the enchanted cupcakes! I want them for myself!

Of course, your Snape and Harry were wonderful. You can definitely still see the sharp edges of the adult that Severus was within the younger man, but it's great that they've been so very blunted by his obviously better childhood. His dedication to Hippogriffs is so great because it's nice (and so rare!) to see him have any kind of passion outside of potions.

Harry of course, was full of awesome and win as well. I like this older Harry--still shows signs of his Gyrffindor self (like the blunder at the party), but open enough to learn to like--and to love, the new Severus, his friendship with Malfoy and...yes.

The fic was an absolute delight to read from beginning to end, and it's a wonderful way to end a wonderful fest. Definitely one of my favorites :D

You already know I love this, but I had to say it again since I get to read it again! The creative cakes, the wonderfully evolving relationships, Severus talking to his own portrait and the natural way their love grew.

And, of course, the pet names ;D

I'm so glad we got to have such a great fic as our closing volley! ♥

OH WOW!!! So wonderful to read! This is what I've been looking for in Snarry! It was Oh So Wonderful!!!!!

"Dad, how did you ever pass Care of Magical Creatures?" Severus asked incredulously.

Draco shrugged negligently. "Cheated off Granger like the rest of the class."

Isn't that just soooo Draco? LOL That had me laughing so hard I had tears!

It was Severus's turn to stroke Harry's cheek. "If he, the professor, had wanted you as much as I want you, he might have stepped in front of that curse and given himself another chance."

And this had me in tears for an entirely different reason! Oh, that line right there was perfect! It showed so much emotion in so very few words!

Again thank you for this wonderful story!!

Perfection, as always! I know whenever I see your name on a fic, that it will be wonderful, and this one was no exception. I love Draco stepping in to take care of baby Severus, seeking to give him the happy childhood that Severus never had; even to the point of letting Severus have all those pets! And watching Harry and Severus fall in love was a treat. A fabulous end to the snarry games!

This was amazing and so very, very romantic.

I loved the magical world aspects - the racing, the cakes, and such. I liked Draco as a father and then as a friend to Harry. Most of all, the growing romantic tension between Harry and Severus was perfect.

Your fic's finally here! And it's the last one. But what a nice story to finish with. Very interesting to see Harry working with the Hippogriffs, and the slow way Harry came to fall in love with Severus.

That was wonderful -- the best fic I've read in quite a while. From your caring and protective Draco to your understanding and careful/hesitant Harry, everything was crafted so well. I think all readers were ready to hex Pansy a thousand ways when she dared to make a jab at Severus, and when Draco told Harry he better kiss Severus again, we were probably all on the verge of tears while nodding.

My love for this fic is immense. I am not one to read fics over again and again, but I think this one will be reread a few times -- it is just such a happy and positive fic. I fell in love with your Draco -- he made such a good dad, and your comment that you had Severus make about Draco not being his father, but his dad -- that hit home and made me smile 'cause there is a difference. Okay, I could go on and on, but I won't, at least until I am a bit more cognizant. I will be rec'ing this, most definitely!

This fic was the perfect closing story. It was wonderful, warm, and witty. I found myself laughing a lot at the interactions between Severus, Harry and Draco and Harry and Draco.

It was also very romantic. You really nailed the prompt. I loved Harry the Hippogriff racer, Severus as a young child, Draco the father, Gabrielle--everything about this story.

The tension between Severus and Harry was palpable, and I love how it seems in the end that Draco knew of his son's feelings for Harry and approved. Harry and Draco's friendship is marvelous, and this is coming from someone who doesn't really like Draco. It was very realistic. I loved how everyone thought Draco was going to hex off Harry's balls. Hehe.

I also loved the role reversal. In this fic, Severus is the student and Harry the teacher. Severus is cheeky and brash, but still retains what made him Severus. Harry has grown and matured and is more responsible than ever, especially his reactions to Severus.

Thanks so much! This was a story I've been mulling over for quite sometime and the Games forced me to see if I could pull it off--since I love the idea of their roles being reversed so much! Very glad you liked the story!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, and yet again, wonderful!

This made me so very happy. Your characterizations were so perfect -- from Draco to Harry to young (and nubile) Severus, and even the minor characters were spot on, like Ron and Hermione and Gabrielle and even Pansy. There is so much about this fic that I love -- Severus' insecurity when he "outs" himself and his fears about how Draco will react, Draco's loving protection of his son, the tensions between Harry and Severus, the intensity of their relationship, Severus' desire to find his own way in the world -- the list goes on and on.

I have sort of fallen out of any HP fandom involvement lately, and your story reminded me why I loved this pairing so very, very much. Thank you.

I turned in to a hurricane of squee when I saw this, I had to wait a while to be calm enough to read xD

Gabrielle was wonderful! I've never liked her as much as I did here. Beautiful characterization of Severus, he seemed right no matter how old he were. And the tension, oh God, the tension! *grin*

Lovely details: The cakes, the plotting cupcakes, the Hippogriffs and the foundation! Wow.

200 points (or perhaps nine, nine and nine?) to whichever house! :D

I enjoyed this fic so much, Delta. Your love for Harry and Snape shines all the way through this, in the characterisation that has Snape live his life again and yet still be recognisable as himself; in the carefully built relationships you weave around them, with Ron, Hermione, Draco and Gabrielle; in the depth of detail of the magical world; in that slowly building tension between them. Wonderful work, and I think that the mods' decision for this to close the Snarry Games honoured your fic as the epitome of Snarry.

Ahhh YES! :D The Games go out with a bang! :D This was so awesome, Delta! I LOVED the cupcakes! Made me laugh so hard. And there were just so many funny lines, like when Harry's all "Um, can we not use the word 'molest' already?!" :D

Of course it was a fantastic twist on the typical dynamic--I don't tend to go for time turner/de-aging fics generally, so I don't see a lot of kids in my fics--but baby Severus was cute! Secretly I was hoping Harry and Draco would get together, but alas. The Snarry Games. :D They seemed to have some chemistry though! :D

Thank you so very much for finally finally giving the world a more plausible fell-in-love-with-the-de-aged-person story!

I completely fell in love with Draco as a dad raising Severus into a happy well adjusted person who still kept his more lovable characteristics intact, snarky and nubile!

Utterly fascinating plot line with a well developed characters growing into themselves instead of haphazardly being thrown together in odd and mismatched sort of ways.

Also, thanks for not making Harry raise him.... too weird by far that would have been, and for not making it chan. Severus was just the right age, even if a little devious at times-like a regular teenager!

oh what a lovely story! i felt a little squicked by the premise at the beginning, but i love your writing so i carried on, and i so glad i did! it worked so well, the characters were great, and i really enjoyed seeing how severus might have turned out if he'd had a better childhood. it was nice to see harry and draco in a mature friendship as well. very believable - a gorgeous story. thank you so much!

This was lovely -- a very unique premise. I like that you took the time to let us watch Severus grow up again, because I don't think the premise would have worked half as well otherwise; we needed to see those relationships develop slowly and organicaly. Your fatherly Draco was wonderful too. Nice fic to end the Games!

*hugs* That was the hard part--letting Snape grow up and not rush into something neither of them was ready for. Restraint can be hard! But I'm very glad you enjoyed the story!
